Join our Junior section
At Bush Hill Park we aim to:
- Promote the game of golf within the rules and regulations of the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St.Andrews
- Encourage junior members to learn how to play golf and to be responsible Club Members
- Encourage Junior members to play in Club matches and competitions
- Help junior members reach their full potential

We recognise that the future of golf and its development lies with children at the grass roots level and their progress is dependant on the support they receive from adults.
We do all of this through our junior section which is open to boys and girls aged under 18 at the beginning of the membership year. There are restricted playing times for juniors but you will be encouraged to play in internal and external competitions and to earn an official handicap as quickly as possible.
Junior Club nights are held regularly during April to October. At these juniors play in mini competitions and receive advice from coaches to help improve their game and generally make friends.
We also have an affiliates group for those who are starting from scratch. This is held once a week throughout the year and you would work your way through a standardised coaching programme.
We will also promote juniors who show the right attitude, behaviour and ability to the various County and National bodies that are trying to encourage junior golf development.

We currently have over 40 junior members and there is a waiting list. If you would like to apply for membership please contact the Club for an application form. Once the application FORM is completed you will be invited to an interview when you will be given more information about the Club and when you are likely to be offered membership.
