The big news from this week is that the Thursday Club draw took place a little later than planned, due to technical difficulties with the ball machine, but the £575 prize fund was won by number 349 a delighted Pauline Platt.
This weekend we have the final medal for those who have qualified and on the Sunday the Four Ball Draw for the Autumn Vases. Entry costs only £5 and all funds distributed as prizes it's a very good way of meeting other members and extending your circle of playing partners.

You can see how things are improving with a new Captain on board when the nearest the pin prize has grown from a bottle of wine to the chance of having a new Toyota Car for the weekend !.It's a shame that I won't be able to play as I shall be in the Air on the way to Alicante for 6 days of Golf.
That's about it for the time being and next week will be my last announcement before I become a past captain.
