Hi everyone,
The Iris Sumner 4bbb was played on Sunday with some very good scoring indeed. It was tight at the top, with myself and Lisa just edging out Chris and Una. It was a thoroughly enjoyable days golf and well done to all who played.

Unfortunately today, Alison and I were not able to continue with our Daily Mail Foursomes challenge, losing to a very steady pairing from Hampstead.
With the prospect of England progressing to the semi finals of the Euro`s we have decided to bring the meal for the Centenary Salver forward to 6pm. I hope all those who indicated that they would stay are still able to do so. Please let me know if you are no longer able to come. Likewise, if there are any others, including our past playing members, who would like to attend please let me know by the weekend.
For the Women’s Invitation Day, it will be a great help if we can have guests` CDH numbers in advance. These can then be loaded into the Ig for ease of scoring. Full details of the day will be given to each group with their team card on the day. I am currently checking if we can have a registration area or not , due to Covid restrictions, but we will be running a sock sweep at £5 a strip, so please come armed with cash.
A date for your diary, Sunday 18th July at 1pm is the Gents invite to Ladies, mixed pairs Greensomes competition. More info on this will be coming out soon or speak with the Men's Vice Captain Ted Rees.
Finally, I`d like to wish Diana a speedy recovery from her knee replacement surgery. We send our love and best wishes to you, Di. We hope to see you back on the course very soon.
