Men's Beginner Programme
Improve and develop your game with a structured coaching programme.
Pathway to Membership
Our men's beginners' Academy delivers a structured coaching programme designed to prepare newcomers to the game for playing membership.
Run by our PGA Head Professional Danny Hill and Assistant Professional Jack Bidmead, the programme consists of group coaching, staged access to the course, and use of practice facilities.
As an academy member, you may apply for playing membership at any time once the required level of ability has been achieved.
The Programme runs yearly from April and coaching sessions are on Thursdays at 2pm for an hour, and Sundays at 10am for an hour.
This year's programme will commence on Thursday, 18 April.

Year 1
- Two shared lessons with another beginner followed by 11 consecutive group lessons in a maximum class size of 12.
- Access holes 1 to 5 on completion of your lessons.
- Play holes 1 to 7 on sign-off.
- Tee-times can be booked during certain days and times, two days in advance.
- Unlimited use of practice facilities.

Year 2
- Twelve consecutive group lessons in a maximum class size of 12.
- Access to play holes 1 to 10.
- Access to play holes 1 to 13 on obtaining a handicap.
- Tee-times can be booked during certain days and times, two days in advance.
- Unlimited use of practice facilities.

- Covers the fundamentals of golf.
- All required equipment included.
- Every Thursday at 1pm and Sunday at 9am.
- Just £10 per session.
- Enjoy Clubhouse dining facilities before and after sessions.
