Not many leaves on the trees now. The winds and rains of the last few days have hastened their fall. But they have been superbly cleared from most places by our wonderful Groundstaff and we just had to contend with a few muddy places in our Wednesday competition, the Winter Greensomes.

Unfortunately, the cutting back of the eco rough did not make an appreciable difference for many of us in Wednesday’s final Stableford of this year. But there were some good scores in, despite the early morning heavy frost, ice, frozen bunkers and rather chilly temperatures.
