The first of three monthly winter quiz nights took place on Friday and triumphing was Martin Dunnett's team (again). Thanks to the Quiz Master Peter Eskesen for his research, time, and testing questions, Lynne and Ruth for marking, Roy, Debbie and the team for excellent food and service as usual. The next event is on 27th February, so look to test yourselves, enter and look to make up a team.
On Sunday we held the monthly fourball draw, with pastries prior and snacks following the round. We played a pairs better ball comp with Des Denning and Ray Ripsher winning with an incredible 47 points, including 2 birdies on hole 17 and 18 from Des. Well played.
The next draw is on 1st March so another date to mark in your diary.

Matthew has won twp weeks running now and is building a commanding lead in the overall listings with 220 points followed but Andrew Garrad on 215 and David Hollins in 3rd on 212 points. All still to play for!
Remember that winter fairway mats are now compulsory on the course. These can be obtained and returned to the Pro Shop or are available to purchase also.
