Firstly, Pearson news. Alison Towndrow - playing captain for this match, took her team of seven to Wyke Green. A trek across the county, but well worth it as it was a convincing 5-2 win. Many congratulations to all involved.
A big thank you to Nikki Chodurek for running another successful session last Sunday and thanks to all the members who gave up their time to help. It was much appreciated by the WDF Year 2’s who played.
It was a glorious morning on Wednesday for our yellow ball team competition, but it was very heavy underfoot. There was a tie at the top with two groups finishing on 82 points. The winners on countback were Ruth Goulding, Amanda Lawson, and Jane Majer, with Nikki C, Margaret Herlihy and Angela Graham the runners-up. No prizes, just the glory of the victory.

Debbie Sanders needs help with the decorations on Monday 27th November. Please speak with her directly if you are available.
Entry for the golf has now opened for the End of Season Alliance on Wednesday 29th November. Please sign up on IG. The deadline is Saturday 25th to allow time to do a draw for teams. It will be a semi shotgun start from 08:30am. The lunch sign up is in the locker room - the deadline for that is Friday 24th so the numbers can be given to Roy.
Christmas Fayre, Thursday 30th November
More volunteers are needed to help with teas and coffee from 1pm to 3pm so if you can spare an hour, it will be much appreciated. Also, more bottles are needed for Chris and Una and raffle/hamper donations for Janet.
Women’s Christmas Party, Thursday 7th December
The last chance to sign up will be Friday 1st December. Don’t miss out.
