Firstly, a huge congratulations to Rob Sobers for winning Winter league 2024/25, not one of his best rounds on Saturday, nevertheless he had already done enough to secure the win with 229 points, very well played Rob and I look forward to presenting your prize on prize giving night.

Friday night was a super evening watching The Latest Flames perform again at the club, it was great seeing so many people up and dancing the night away.
The final quiz will be on the 28th March so sign up if you haven’t already.
We still have a few tickets available for the comedy night tomorrow.
The winter League table is now online, and the final three have stayed the same Rob Sobers still leading now on 229, James Chard now on 225 and Graeme Allen on 222, can anyone catch Rob on the final round of the winter league?
Booking is now open on IG for Captains Charity day 5th May, if anyone is able to donate any raffle prizes or premium lots for the charity auction, please do reach out, whatever you can donate will be greatly received for a fantastic cause. More info to follow in due course.
Danny and I are very much looking forward to playing our Captain and pro Challenges, which will culminate with whichever pair manages to beat us by the biggest margin, being invited to play a rematch at Royal Cromer Golf Club, please email Danny or myself and we can book you in.
I’m off to Australia for a couple of weeks, so Vice Captain Sean Nugent will take over in my absence.
A bit of a nag again. Please remember to repair pitch marks and divots - this helps enormously with the repair of the course and greens if done straight away. Also, as the hut is self-service on a Saturday for the time being, please leave it as you wish to find it - unfortunately it's becoming messier every week and if it can't be kept clean we will have to keep it closed.
As we are now underway for the season, a reminder that the 13th is the Captain’s Charity Hazard. If you go into the water then a donation into any of the buckets around the clubhouse will be gratefully received, if like me that does happen a little too often! Then an idea to see you through the year could be a one-off donation via the JustGiving Page of £10.
Happy Golfing.

Club Captain
