Women's Captain's Blog, 9th October 2025
A huge thank you firstly to all the women who kindly brought in food, drinks, and toiletries for our Harvest Festival. It was a very generous response. I shall be taking all the bags to the food bank in a few days.
Results
Thirty-six women played today in the Harvest Festival all in one division.
First was Nicola Zaninetti with 48 points. Second was Ann Jones with 47 points. Both brilliant scores.
The 9-hole stableford was won by Janet Beacham with 19 points. Well done to the winners.
The Lorna Peters Trophy was played in Highgate on Monday 6th October and Bush Hill Park was represented by Val Weaver, Nikki Chodurek, and Mary Kemal. Though the result was not in our favour, I believe they had a great day.
Forthcoming events
Sunday 12th October we have The American Cup, which is a mixed competition played at Enfield - seven couples are participating.
Sunday 12th October Women's Alternate Medal.
Wednesday 15th October Women's Medal.
Wednesday 15th October 9-Hole Stableford.
