On Saturday it was Winter League week three with the course playing difficult, reflecting in only four players beating their handicap. There were 81 entrants in the field with the following players leading the way on Saturday:
Division 1
1st Stephen Preston 40 points
2nd David Boss 37 points
3rd Asa Lowther 36 points
Division 2

Five twos were achieved overall.
On Sunday Chris Harrington scored 33 points with four entrants. The Winter League is your best six cards over the winter period of 20 weeks and can be played on Saturdays or Sundays so get those cards in early to avoid the winter blues. It’s £1 to enter the competition each week and there are optional sweeps of £2 for the competition and the twos with distribution payout details on the IG.
On Sunday, we had eleven players in the new members competition with Luke Morenas-Jones taking the honours, scoring 41 points to claim victory, with Warren Price coming in second with 35 points. Welcome and well played to all entrants and I hope you are enjoying your golfing experience at Bush Hill Park.
Finally, don’t forget the Captains Charity lake and a donation to Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice should your ball not make the green side of the 13th. An annual insurance is available for £20 donation via JustGiving or cash into one of the buckets located around the bar areas.
Happy golfing till next week and keep practicing!
