With Claudia leaving the Traitor series behind and storming through the UK, the course was closed on Saturday, disrupting the weekend’s golfing ambitions and the battle for leadership of the Winter League. Conditions have been difficult since the start seven weeks ago, with leaders averaging 33 points so there’s plenty of scope left for players to post greater scores and shoot right up the table. Keep entering and keep going!

On Sunday, the course reopened and six hardy members entered into Week Seven of the league. The winner was Jack O’Neill posting 37 points, a great score especially considering the conditions.

The leaderboard after seven rounds shows:

1st place - Andrew Garrad 203 points

2nd place - Rob Collett 203 Points

3rd place - Mike Stainton 201 points

This week's golfing event is the Beaujolais Day on Thursday. The competition is open and still time to enter on IG for the draw on Wednesday night.

Remember the Christmas Sunday Lunches are available to book on 7th, 14th and 21st December. It would be great to see as many people as possible dining and helping to add to a great atmosphere around the Club during the festive period.

Also a reminder that there is reserved parking space available and going to auction bids with all funds raised going to Noah's Ark Children’s Hospice, this years Charity, so if interested contact me or Michelle in the Office.

That’s it for this week and back next week with hopefully some golfing news.
