Golf can be very frustrating at times, no less so for me this weekend, where after having possibly my best ever round on Friday, it was swiftly followed by one of my worst on Saturday. Though as Danny always says, go out there with the intention of just enjoying the round.

A very short blog this week, after a very wet and windy weekend meant that inevitably the course had to close on both Saturday and Sunday, for players safety as much as anything else. However we did have the Annual Kid’s Christmas Party on Saturday afternoon, and a surprise visit from Santa to give out gifts, topped off a very well organised and attended party once again.

On Wednesday last week I went up to Leicester to attend the Club Mirror Awards along with John and Sue Killey, Stewart, Debbie, and Sonia, and I’m thrilled to say we won Golf Club of the Year for a fourth time, the third in succession.
